Analisis Upaya Preventif Ketidakpastian Pasokan Bahan Baku melalui Pendekatan Safety Stock dan Reorder Point

PT. Tri Jaya Teknik merupakan perusahaan dengan sistem produksi make-to-order yang menghadapi ketidakpastian pasokan berupa keterlambatan pengiriman dan kesulitan memperoleh bahan baku sesuai spesifikasi yang berpotensi menghambat proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses pengadaan bahan baku, mengidentifikasi risiko keterlambatan pengadaan, serta menentukan pengendalian persediaan menggunakan metode Safety Stock dan Reorder Point (ROP). Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang didukung pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi pada bagian purchasing, meliputi data pembelian besi hollow berukuran 60 × 60 × 2,3 mm dan lead time pengadaan selama Januari–April 2026. Data pembelian digunakan sebagai proksi permintaan karena data pemakaian material belum terdokumentasi lengkap. Analisis menunjukkan adanya risiko pengadaan yang berkaitan dengan ketidakpastian ketersediaan material, variasi kinerja pemasok, dan keterlambatan pengiriman. Hasil pengolahan menunjukkan rata-rata permintaan sebesar 54,98 batang per hari dengan standar deviasi 24,85 batang per hari. Pada tingkat pelayanan 95% dan lead time normal dua hari, diperoleh Safety Stock sebesar 58 batang dan ROP sebesar 168 batang. Kedua metode dapat menjadi dasar pengambilan keputusan pengadaan yang lebih terukur untuk mengantisipasi kekurangan bahan baku dan keterlambatan produksi. Namun, hasilnya perlu dievaluasi menggunakan periode pengamatan yang lebih panjang dan data pemakaian yang lebih lengkap.
